Hey, it's been exactly one month since I last posted. I didn't wanna update y'all until I had something fun to give ya, that's why I took so long (excuse me). Well, since I'm here now, let me tell y'all what's kept me away...

Earlier this month, I was called by well-known trumpeter, composer and arranger Ricky Brathwaite to feature on his album Sunflower. The finalized recording is called "Groove For LIU" in homage to the college he graduated from, Long Island University. This one kinda has me going back to my roots a bit (for those who've been with me since 2001 haha), so it may not be for everyone. I'ma see if I can post up something for y'all once the CD's out (which should be sometime in November).

I've been tightening up my performance routines a bit. I gotta do a stint coming up really soon. I ain't got the exact details as of yet, but it's supposed to be the day of the Independence Lighting Ceremony (which is on November 1).

Remember them new tracks I said I'll have real soon? They are all connected to the new compilation that Hit Island is releasing next month: Bajan Hip-Hop & R&B, Vol. 1. Alongside myself on the album, it'll feature Levi & Dunnz, Trezay, Shontelle, Buggy, Blade, damian marvay, and a whole bunch o' local artists. And for those who've been asking: yes, "We Live On" will be on the compilation. We got it.

That's about it for now, I'm out.

Oh, told y'all I had "something to give ya". People keep telling me how much they love the background photos for my site, so I made them into wallpapers for your desktops. Just go to the extras section and select your screen resolution to download the one you want.
